This was the only third time GMPD ever played in Chicago. They were opening for the Rapture at Metro. This was early on in GMPD's career. It was before "Once Triangular" was released and they were already doing newer songs.. I believe Gil and Donny were a little nervous about playing in front of a larger crowd then they were used to so they overcompensated by delivering a truly legendary set. This video is one of my all time favorite live sets from any band and I am sharing the whole thing for FREE. This was shot and edited by Mike , Stacey, and Bryan. At the time this was made it was the greatest video accomplishment we has achieved at that point. It was basically the beginning of Analog Monkey.

So here it is. We spent the Sunday of the P4k Fest 08 walking around with Bradford and interviewing several of the artists that played the event. King Kahn, Jay Reatard (and his bhole), Britt Daniel and many more......We couldn't be more stokeder about the way this came out! Stacey, Bryan and Myself cold killin it on the cameras kid.

here's the video we shot on 12-31-2007 in atlanta. bryan did most of the organizing of this video. he did most of the editing too. mike and stacey did the camera work with a little help from my man ian. everybody in the video did a bad ass job. this was as fun to make as it is to watch. big ups to segway mike and bacon.

we are analogmonkey.tv. stacey goldschmidt, mike carney and bryan bankovich. we film alot of bands here in chicago. we make documentaries and other weird crap. we have alot going on in the next few months so we just want to have somewhere to tell people because our website will probably take awhile. pootube and douchespace are fucked, why not complete the trilogy and have a blog too? new videos soon sucka!
